Stainless Steel Dull 2D Finish. Most popular Dog Tag, choose this if unsure. Hole and rolled edge can be re-oriented.Complies with military specifications. Our matte dogtags are made of mil-spec 304 grade (non-ferromagnetic) stainless steel and are left with a dull finish so that you cannot see a reflection in the tag.Matte tags are also available with background images.18/8 stainless steel is the most widely used and flexible austenitic form of stainless steel. The numbers 18/8 represent the composition of this steel; it is 18% chromium and 8% nickel, making it very resistant to corrosion and oxidation. It is highly durable and easy to fabricate and clean. 18/8 stainless steel may also be known as austenite steel or 304 grade steel. The Dull 2D finish on this tag achieved by cold rolling, heat treating and pickling which results in a low reflective matte surface appearance. Optionally Embossed or Debossed with customized text, silencers and chains for additional fee.
