U.S. Army format Dog Tags, replicas based on the 1975-2015 regulations. Made from mil-spec embossed stainless steel. This format is for soldiers who were issued tags between 1975 to 2015 using a Social Security number. This was eventually replaced in 2015 with the DoD ID number (EDIPI) (which we offer as Modern Issue Dog Tags).Depending on the issuing base, dogtags were either Embossed or Debossed as machines were replaced over time, we offer both options below (but Embossed is easier to read).Army format tags were formally issued to personnel of the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Department of the Army (DA) civilians overseas, and other authorized civilian personnel. Tags are ok. The chain is kinda cheap and the silencers keep coming off. Pretty much the same as my originals in 1985.

Hi Mark, thanks for your feedback. Our blank tags and ballchains are made in the USA of mils-spec 304 stainless steel. The silicone silencers should not come off under normal usage, please email us a photo.

As a veteran that lost everything to a flood years ago, it is nostalgic for me to have replacement tags that truly look authentic!! I appreciate your work!!
