U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) format Dog Tags, replicas based on the 1975-2015 regulations. Made from mil-spec embossed stainless steel.This format is for Marines who were issued tags between 1975 to 2015 using a Social Security number. This was eventually replaced in 2015 with the DoD ID number (EDIPI) (which we offer as Modern Issue Dog Tags).Use as a replacement or spare for regulation issued set.Unlike Army tags, only 1st and 2nd initials are used as opposed to the full first name. The branch name USMC, and gas mask size is also indicated. “The dog tags were perfect and the only problem I had was snapping the chain together. But overall they are perfect and will give them away as gifts since I still have one of my original dog tag. I thought it came with the black silencer for the dog tags.”

“Etching was well and clear. Personalization and shipping was quick. Only issue would be the material of the tag. It feels more like plastic than metal. It makes the sound of metal but the feel doesn’t. Everything else is 5 Star”
