I gave my dog tags to a relative a long time ago and just felt the need to have a set as a remembrance to give to our grandson. These are a good copy of my originals. Never had the edge covers to keep them from making noise but we used to use anything on hand to do that. Thanks to MyDog Tags for a excellent service.

My rating of "acceptable" refers to the ease of ordering, timeliness of the delivery, and accuracy of the product. In fact, I would rate these factors 5 stars. I would say, however, that the Quality of the tags themselves is less than I had hoped for. I would gladly have paid more for quality equal to my original tags. Not sure these would hold up in actual service. this is not a complaint; they are priced fairly.

Hi Thomas, thank you for your review and feedback. The specifications for military dog tags has changed over the years. Modern tags will not match those of your originals issued back in the 60s. We would greatly appreciate if you could share any further details on how the tags you received differ from your original tags. We are always looking to improve our products and services for veterans and their families. Thank you for your military service.

Disappointed in the lettering. I believe these Lettering on the tags should be more centered. And the letters a little further apart, so it is clear And not so hard to make out.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your review and feedback. The tags you ordered are from the Vietnam era when regulations called for each line on the dog tag to contain up to 18 characters. To do this we have to set the characters closer together than on a modern dog tag. The information is always supposed to start at the left of the tag and is not centered, by regulations. We do offer many options for customers to modify the tags how they want them including using wider spacing and centering. We have reached out to you directly to discuss further.

My original dog tags were lost in Vietnam in 1971 and the replacements had the SSN on them. I always wanted my old ones back, and these replace them perfectly. Thank you for a job well done.
