Dog tags are great--just like the originals. Rubber silencers not so much. They occasionally pop off unexpectedly with little or no encouragement. And one is torn and will give up completely soon. Will need replacements. The option to blank out part of the SSN is good and appreciated.

Thanks for review. We guarantee the quality of our products and will send free replacements. You may be interested in our less elastic but more durable and tight fitting PVC or Latex rubber silencers. https://www.mydogtag.com/gear/dog-tag-silencers#popular

The tags were what they advertised, literally, but "factually". When they advertised that they were the style of Viet Nam dog tags, I ASSUMED that they meant in size and thickness also. These are little tinny things.

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your feedback. Outside of the rare find of an old box of unused tags from the Vietnam era all manufacturers make tags to current military specs which are thinner than some older tags. Outside of thickness they are the exact same dimensions. The tags are made of 304 stainless steel. We are working with manufacturers to have tags custom made for us using thicker metal and expect to offer this to our customers in 2024. Thank you for your military service.
