“I have been wearing my father’s WWII dog tag since my father gifted it to me as a young man. It is an important daily reminder to me of his sacrifice and service, particularly now since he passed at age 95 in 2020. I have wanted to preserve this original tag for future generations and also share it in some way with both of my sons. I was happy to find this site on the web and I ordered duplicate tags for myself and my sons to be able to continue this memory of my father and eliminate the risk of losing the original tag.
