To help you get the most out of Protect, I’d love to troubleshoot your routine with you. I’d recommend beginning with a half-dropperful of Protect. If you need more coverage, increase by ½ dropperful from there. Next, we recommend applying skincare from thickest to thinnest. This promotes absorption and helps minimize pilling. We recommend this routine, in this order: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, and 5) Face Oil. Of course, you can skip steps, but that’s our general recommendation. After cleansing, apply your serum to clean damp skin, and allow to absorb for 2 - 3 minutes before moving on to the next steps in your routine. If you are applying both a face cream and face oil in the same routine, I recommend allowing the face cream to fully absorb before applying the oil. One last thought! I’d also recommend making sure your face is clear of dry skin or debris before applying your skincare and makeup. Supporting natural cell turnover can help promote absorption, too.
