Hi Emma! 👋 Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience with Renew Resurfacing Night Serum. I know how disappointing it can be to not see the results you were hoping for, and I’d like to share a few tips on how to get the most out of Renew. Because Renew Resurfacing Night Serum contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (which can be sensitizing), we recommend initially applying Renew twice per week and then gradually increasing from there to give your skin a chance to adjust. AHAs can also increase sun sensitivity–as mentioned on the box–so be sure to apply SPF, limit sun exposure, and use Renew in the evenings. It’s also important to apply skincare–Renew included–in the optimal order. We recommend using skincare from thinnest to thickest, in this order: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, 5) Face Oil. After cleansing and while your skin is still slightly damp, apply Renew and allow it to absorb for 2-3 minutes. I hope this helps! All of our skincare is formulated without any synthetic ingredients, meaning that none of our skincare products contain added fragrances. The scent in Renew comes from naturally-derived ingredients (like Hyaluronic Acid, Kakadu Plum, and Lemon) and fades within a few seconds after application. “I’ve been using this product for well over a year now, and after trying many serums from drug store to ones that are 100’s of dollars this is the perfect middle man. I’ve gone back to cheaper drug store ones and can see the difference in my skin within a few days. I notice my skin is hydrated even when I’m tired, it feels good and my skin absorbs it it doesn’t just sit on the surface like most products. It also doesn’t feel oily, their face oils don’t even feel oily.
I use this nightly with a vitamin C moisturizer and the renew oil and my skin looks flawless. During the day I wear the illuminate serum and the vitamin C moisturizer. I’ve tried so many products (almost every drug store peoduct) and this is by far some of the best stuff I have used on my sensitive skin. I don’t love all their products here but their serums and oils are amazing and they’re all natural which is a plus. I don’t see any wrinkling on my face and my skin looks tight which is great. I once tried using a different vegan oil and serum and my whole face broke out, so the fact that none of naked and thriving products make my skin flare up is a huge plus.”
