I’d like to share some tips that may be helpful to know when it comes to applying Renew and Illuminate! We typically recommend applying skincare from thinnest to thickest, in this order: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, 5) Face Oil. After cleansing, apply your serum to clean, damp skin and allow to absorb for 2 - 3 minutes before moving on to the next step in your routine. When it comes to Renew, we recommend applying in the evening because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which can be sensitizing to the skin, especially in the sun. It's also suggested that you start using Renew twice a week to start building up from there. For the nights you're not using Renew, feel free to swap it with Illuminate (you can also apply Illuminate in the mornings as it’s formulated for daytime use). Additionally, we do not recommend using Renew simultaneously with any retinal products, as this may cause irritation. I hope these tips are helpful! “I have always had a VERY hard time finding a good product with Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acids (and all the other good stuff) that did not cause a reaction with my very sensitive skin. I have Lupus and I literally have spent so much money on skincare products I was ready to give up. When I read the testimonials on this product, I figured, why not try it-couldn’t end up any worse? And I started using it and building up my tolerance according to the product recommendations. To my great surprise, I had no problems and no skin reaction whatsoever! I noticed my skin was becoming more even toned and balanced with less fine lines. I also love the way it’s absorbed quickly with no oily residue. It also doesn’t leave any residue on my pillowcase, so that’s always a plus! I really like this product and will continue to use it!”
