“We rafted last year with Jess and this year with Lee - excellent experienced guides who know how to make the trip just scary enough. We love going to the NOC - such a good vibe all around. For both of our trips, we got the whole raft for our group - which is nice because then you know everyone you are with. Would not raft the Nantahala with anyone else.”

“NOC does a solid job in terms of logistics, training and the overall experience. Where they shined the brightest was their Guides. All were friendly and upbeat. Tanner guided us down the river and was truly exceptional! He made a good experience great!”

“First time rafting for myself and my 15 year old daughter. We absolutely loved this excursion! Our guide was phenomenal and Nantahala outdoor center was AWESOME!!!”

“Although it was cold, obviously NOC had no control over that, we had a wonderful experience. Our guide was great and very attentative to all raft occupants, including a young child. She made it a great experience for the couple and the family in the raft. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the changing rooms need help. During summer months when people just wear bathing suits it is probably not a problem but in the cooler months, it was not very good. We plan to go back this summer and take the kids this time as I am certain they will have a blast too!”

“This was my first zip line experience and it was spectacular! I was particularly impressed with our the expertise and friendliness of our guides. I would highly recommend the zip trip.”

“Brought my daughter up to have her first whitewater experience before her 5th grade field trip. Joe made her first trip so comfortable and turned her into whitewater fan. We enjoyed the whitewater and of course Joe with his wealth of knowledge of the river. We will be back!!! Love NOC!”
