“We were looking for an upholstered stool our beloved kitty couldn't destroy, and these fit the bill perfectly. The sling back is a very nice upgrade- and I would call the cushion "supportive" rather than "hard." We like them because they put us up a little higher at our kitchen counter. Sleek, modern, and comfortable. Great stuff. When our trial stool arrived with a bit of a splinter on the footrest, Anne from customer service sprang into action (literally). She responded promptly the same day, shipped out a brand new stool within 24 hours, and told us we could keep (and sand down) or donate the one with the splinter. We were so impressed that we ordered the rest of the set the same day. Anne was very communciative throughout the process- we even sent her a pic of our cat enjoying the new cushion. Just outstanding customer service in an age where that seems to be a dying art. Thank you, NJ- we'll be back for sure!”

“In all my years I have never seen a company with customer service like this. They fixed my small issue, no questions asked. They were efficiant, honest and cared to fix my issue, no haggle. The chairs are super nice, great quality, beauiful color. Easy to assmeble!”

“We originally were going with another style, but I’m so glad I kept browsing! The height is good, the cushions are comfortable & the neutral colors adds the right amount of warmth. Time will tell how the cushions hold up but they feel sturdy. We knew the back wouldn’t be be too supportive because of the style, but we’ve had them for a week and they’re supportive so far. I’d definitely recommend”

“My chairs are beautiful and really complete our kitchen. One of my chairs splintered during assembly and I reached out to customer service. They responded right away and a new chair was on my doorstep a few days later. I had not heard of Nathan James before this purchase and I am very pleased with the aesthetic of the chairs and the customer service.”

“I wanted a set of four barstools for under $1,000 and was so happy when I found these. Assembly took about 20 minutes per barstool but was fairly painless. They look gorgeous and of high quality”
