“I love the functionality of this piece. The combination of open shelves for displaying items and closed cabinets for unsightly but needed things was the perfect solution for me. The piece does best when assembled with two people and there are a few process improvements that could be made to the instructions to make the assembly easier. I prefer the instruction style here to anything IKEA has. Plus these pieces have the style and feel I prefer. All in all, really glad I ordered this piece. I’ve had amazing experiences with the customer services at Nathan and James—that alone keeps me coming backing.”

“First thing’s first - Customer service gets 10 stars. I had purchased a coffee table set that I wasn’t happy with. They were quick to make things right with a no-hassle return, so I swapped it out for this piece. I had purchased an entertainment center from them that had a similar look and I was pleased with the quality, so I was eager to receive this. They are also fast to ship out and this was even during the week of Christmas! Pretty easy to put together - I did it by myself and it probably took right around an hour, that’s with having to unscrew and redo a couple silly mistakes. just take your time and make sure you insert the cabinet doors prior to screwing in the top or bottom! ;) Also make sure you pay attention to which direction the magnets go on based on the illustration. I installed them backwards on the entertainment center, so paid closer attention this go ‘round. As for anyone saying it’s poor quality…I paid $150. Yes, it’s particle board. No, it’s not real solid wood that will last a lifetime and I don’t think that’s what they’re trying to be known for. But I knew that going into it and am very pleased with the quality and look for the price point, just as I am with the entertainment center. The two look great in my living room and I’ll certainly be a repeat customer!”
