“After having a plush memory foam mattress for the last 7 years, this was quite the adjustment. I was having back issues and having a firm mattress changed that around quite a bit. Although I’ll miss the feeling of getting into a soft, squishy bed, I won’t miss waking up feeling like I’ve aged 40 years overnight. It’s a bit hard on my hips, but I’m a plus sized person (about 300lbs). My husband is a healthy weight and doesn’t have any hip or nerve pain. I did want to get rid of this mattress after the first night hahaha but the 14-day wait period requirement for exchanges did give my body the time it needed to adjust.”

How would you rate the firmness of this mattress? Firm

“We were looking to replace our old mattress and we didn’t want a huge, 14inch model. Our existing mattress was on a box spring and was 10 inches tall. I did some reading about pocket coils, the strength of coil gauge and side mattress fitness. The Galaxy Firm model checked all the boxes and was also considerably less expensive than many other higher mattresses. The first night we slept on it I couldn’t believe how seamlessly we switched up mattresses! It’s so unbelievably comfortable and supportive, and the Euro top and foam are just right for a touch of softness.”

“Walked into Hamilton National Matress, was greeted, showen options for my Daughter's new bed. Paid and done in less than half an hour. They even helped load my truck. For a man who hates shopping and human engagment when shopping, this was quick and easy. The mattress looks good as well :)”

“Extremely comfortable and firm- exactly what I needed. Let it expand for about 48 hours upon opening and it seemed to have fully expanded very quickly anyway. It’s especially perfect for side sleepers with back problems. National Mattress is honestly underrated!”
