Made the process super simple. Scheduled an appointment quickly and had the file before I got home from the appointment.

Instructions were easy to follow, but sometimes the machine was picky about prints. Patience is key, don't rush and you'll get the prints done correctly.

I wanted to wait until my first form 1 was approved before writing a review. That was around six months ago. Yesterday, they were all approved at once. I was a little apprehensive about doing my first NFA item and going through a third party for much of anything. There are a lot of ways to do it on your own. If I only wanted to do one NFA item, I probably would have gone another route. Since I wanted to do several at once, filing through the BATFE eForms made a lot of sense. EFT Fingerprints saves you the hassle of rolling your own for each and every application. I did a lot of research, made phone calls, wrote e-mails, read forums, etc… National Gun Trusts™ has a lot of useful recourses that helped me through the process. When I was ready, I purchased the .EFT Fingerprint File Service from the National Gun Trusts™ website and set up an appointment to get my fingerprints rolled. The closest place to have that done for me was a two hour drive. I probably spent more in gas than the cost of the fingerprinting service. The great thing about an .EFT Fingerprint file is that you only have to do it once. Everything went smoothly, and with a passport photo, I was well on my way to file. Doing my first form was a little intimidating. I’m glad that National Gun Trusts™ has several recourses to help you through the process. I highly recommend reading their written walkthroughs and watching their videos on what you are applying for. Once you get used to the system that the BATFE has set up, the process becomes a lot easier.

UPS has a HORRIBLE finger print recording system. The pad is too small to easily fit a large handle, it's very pressure sensitive (over/under) and sits on a table way to low for taller people. NGT was great, UPS, not so much. Took me over 20 minutes with help from an associate to get a "reasonable" acceptable set of finger prints.
