“So many issues from self service machine to the guy who called me to set up my appointment entering my name wrong….sucks ZERO STARS I’m looking for a better company and simply want a refund you guys are incapable of doing the simplest of tasks. I am writing to formally report a serious issue with my recent fingerprinting appointment and the self-service fingerprinting system used at the UPS location. During my appointment, my EFT fingerprint file was never successfully captured due to repeated malfunctions with the Sterling fingerprint scanner. I was at the UPS store for over an hour, during which the scanner repeatedly failed, froze, and eventually blacked out completely and would not restart. As a result, no usable fingerprint data was captured. In addition to the equipment failure, my name was entered incorrectly, further complicating the process. Despite following all instructions precisely—using appropriate pressure and positioning as demonstrated—the system consistently failed to read my fingerprints properly. I made multiple attempts until the machine completely stopped functioning. The UPS staff informed me that they do not operate or troubleshoot the fingerprinting equipment, as it is simply installed by the store owner. This highlights a significant flaw in relying on self-service machines without trained personnel available to properly capture fingerprints. Fingerprinting should be performed by trained staff who understand proper finger rolling techniques and can ensure all prints are readable and accepted (green status), preventing delays or rejections later in the process. This is not my first time being fingerprinted, and I can confidently say this experience was far below acceptable standards. A process this critical should not depend on unreliable self-service equipment that fails mid-appointment, with no trained support available. I strongly urge you to: Use better-maintained equipment Ensure accurate data entry Partner with trained professionals, such as UPS staff who actively perform fingerprinting or local law enforcement/sheriff offices Eliminate or improve the self-service model, which clearly does not work reliably This process should not be this difficult. I simply need my EFT fingerprint files, not repeated delays and system failures. This is just ridiculous.”

“Needed a eft correction. Immediately after I checked out I had en email from a tech asking what needed to be done. I replied and in less then 10 minutes (more like 5) I had the file back with a short note thanking me and letting me know I could reach out if I had any issues. Honestly, one of the easiest online interactions I've ever had with a company like this. 100% I will use or recommend them in the future.”
