Hello, they arrived a little battered but on time.

The experience was pretty easy over all. My only complaint would be the directions they send with the trust documents doesn't really explain the next steps well... it says get a notary to sign the documents and then you can make a purchase at a store (not verbatim, I'm summarizing). I was under the impression I needed to submit the signed paperwork back to national gun trusts. Not having been a lawyer I was unsure of the next step. I took my notary signed paperwork to the store and told them where I was in the process and they told me what the next steps were. For anyone else going through this process and never having had to deal with legal paperwork of this nature.... the steps are, get the trust from national gun trusts, download the document and take it to a notary, you and the notary sign the trust documents... that's it, the other paperwork that comes with the download isnt necessary for a gun store purchase. you are ready to take that document to the gun store and purchase your suppressor or sbr you wanted. The FFL will get a copy of your trust paperwork and have you fill out some other ATF paperwork and you are done. It's that simple. After that it's up to the ATF if they like your trust paperwork, but from a place that puts out as many gun trusts as this place. The wording should be on point. I actually got an update on my trust from the legal team, they contacted me and told me there was some wording that needed to be changed and sent me the updated trust. Turn around time for the whole process was maybe an hour, this was including the updated trust wording. Unless the ATF comes back and says my trust won't work due to how it's worded I'd use this company for a quick easy solution.

Quick turnaround, got exactly what I needed. Since it was entirely boilerplate, only got dinged a bit by price. Ready made documentation like this should be 50% overall cost to what it was.

The process was very easy to follow but there are a few improvements in the process that could be made. 1. The implications of the Co-trustees isn't very well communicated throughout the process. Inadvertently, I put a minor on the Co-trustees which could be verified by a simple DOB question. 2. I was reached out to for questions which was great, but the 'final' copy of the Trust was already mailed before my questions were answered and the revisions were made. This final copy should be printed AFTER someone asks. (Not sure if my shredder can handle this paper) 3. All in all the process would have been more simple if I was a lawyer or was familiar with trusts - which is not the target audience for this. In the end - I have a functional trust though which is fine! It's just not on nice paper :).

Restating my existing trust from 2012 was incredibly easy. 4 stars for two reasons: 1. I have owned some of the receivers I have built into SBR’s for over a decade in some cases. I have no idea when the date of purchase is or where I got them. So there are blanks on my inventory. 2. My inventory sheet is sloppy as hell! I had to write in my entire inventory, after receiving the premium card stock printed option… I really wish I had the opportunity to complete that portion of the doc before it was printed. Although I acknowledge, some may not feel comfortable sharing a list of serial numbers with a third party company or printer.

National Gun Trusts was fine. But getting my fingerprints did not go well. When I got to the UPS store where the appointment was scheduled, I was told the technician did not come to work and that no one else could do it. So they referred me to another location. After driving there, they helped me and we could not get my prints to scan. I had to call the company myself (?) to interact by phone with their support to diagnose Bottom line, my prints wouldn't scan. So about 2 hours of my day wasted. Everybody tried to be helpful, but what I had hoped would be a great way of getting prints was a bust. And, for the price, I don't feel I should have to call to solve their technology issues.

Paperwork was very well done, processed order incredibly fast. Got an email that it was ready and if I needed help, well I probably should have spoken with him the next day when actually going through the paperwork for notary. My process Was not flawless but I can’t blame these folks, I would recommend.

First of all, my adviser Ryan was super helpful, and really knows his shit! He explained everything, and had a super quick response time to all my questions. I would have never guessed the proper way to fill out the Form 5030.23 exactly the way the ATF wants things without his help. The only reson I didn't give 5 stars is I paid $70 for a consult for my Form 1 and form 5030.23, and I was filing my form 1 electronically, so I never got the Form 1 consult. I found out though a friend that I could have filed eveything through Silencer Shop for $50 and never had to deal with anything other than send them my picture, an eft file, and a picture of the lower. So, why did I pay $70 to have someone help me fill out my form 5030.23? Because the existence of the ATF doesn't make any sense, and neither do their forms.

National gun trust is the route I prefer. Compared to others I feel they're very helpful and under stand the process necessary to make a gun trust operable.

Good overall service. I wish there was more "best practices" and "tips" because ultimately there were some confusing steps and some "aha moments" that I learned the hard way as I proceeded thru the e-forms process.
