“A perfect camera for catching my resident hedgehogs. Easy to set up with my phone . The battery life between charges is impressive. 100% does what I wanted the camera to do.”
“I'm very pleased with my WiFi Wildcam2. Nice nightime video, when nature is close to it.
Like any tech, it does take a few goes or reads of instructions, to try and get it to work !. The instructions are pretty good but not perfect. I'm not sure but connecting to WiFi the app works but when I leave the house with my mobile, the phone often does not auto reconnect to the wifi when I return. Need to investigate?.
I started on a Gorilla tripod that I already had, not the best, so might be worth buying the Naturespy tripod
Overall very pleased”
“Bought 2 x wifi wildcam 2 cameras and very impressed. Linking the cameras to my wifi was really easy once I realised I had to set it up on my 2.5ghz to initialise it.
Using the app proved a little taxing until I suddenly saw the rhyme and reason of how it worked. Especially love the fact that I can access the cameras when I'm away from the house.
Had wildlife cameras before but always didsapointed until I bought these. Heartedly recommend to anyone.”
“I couldn't be more pleased. I've been a long time trying to find the right camera for the wildlife in my garden and this hasn't disappointed. Very easy to set up and wonderful resolution frommtje camera. Would recommend 100%”
“Works well, gives clear picture day or night. Very handy that it alerts you when it has dected movement.
Easy to use and connect to your phone and tablet.”
“The picture quality is great, the motion detector works well, the WiFi signal is much better than I was expecting. I'm loving spying on my hedgehog visitors!”
“The camera itself is good and the ideoes are clear. It is let down by clusy software though. Linking camrea to wifi and, in my case, android phone was long winded and the instructions didn't quite match the reality.
Downloading clips is also clumsy. You get notified when the camera captures somethingbut clicking on it only takes you to a live view not the actual clip. The only way I'e found to ie the is to use the timeline to scrollwhich in iself is also clusy. You then hae to record what will be dowlonaded. No option to just download awole clip.
Also, not clear how to change settings.Manual isn't insnc with software and you have to go all over the place to figure it out. Why? As an ex IT perdon this looks to me to hae been designed by developers from a purley techy aspect.
Software really does need some work.”
