The initial set up can be a nightmare, specifically getting your phone to read the QR code. Both my wife and I tried on 2 seperate iPhones numerous times, one being an iPhone 15 Pro with latest software. Once it finally connected the WildCam 2 has worked well, albeit we’ve only had it outdoors for one afternoon and night. It’s picked up movement really well, alerted as it should have and recorded too. Blackbird, Robins, a cat and a fox (at 03:00). I would certainly recommend it as both the day mode and IR night mode are crisp pictures. Even having colour night mode is great quality. Would I buy another, yes. Would I recommend it, yes. Just be patient with the initial QR connection.

Replaced a good quality standard WiFi camera with the NatureSpy Wildlife2. What a difference!! Vastly improved depth of colour and focus. Really impressed for such a small device. Captured an excellent video of my friendly fox within a couple of hours. Brilliant.

Seems to work well. A pity app not available for Microsoft Windows.

Thanks Paul, glad you're enjoying it. We don't advertise this as being able to work with Windows, as per the information on the product page - it works via an Android or iOS app.

Likes: wide angle lens works for our garden giving great low down view of passing cats, hedgehogs, badgers, foxes; choice of white light or infra-red at night is good, live view of current activity is good, battery life is exceptionally good. Dislikes: only recording choice is single still photo plus video and video proves hard to view (stuttering data connection) unless the memory card is taken out and inserted into a PC and then selection of which video to view is laborious - could do with a PC app that makes up video thumbnails and offers to play all videos from a give time/date range.

I can't rave about this camera enough! I purchased this by accident as I was reviewing another product and someone had noted that Naturespy Wild Cam 2 was a fantastic camera for a beginners level, so I went ahead and made the purchase. It arrived promptly and was in my opinion easy to set up. I also bought the product because of the app and its USB charging, so no batteries (what a pain and expense that would be)! The very next morning after set up who would believe for an enclosed walled and 8ft long privet hedged town garden would I see a fox and a hedgehog, harmoniously moving around the lawn together. What a delight! From that point on I was hooked but also amazed that my hard work to create a nature garden was working! Our garden was attracting the wild animals of the night, as well as the day, I can't think of anything more special than that. At the beginning shortly after purchase I had a few questions, memory fails me I'm afraid (minor and my misunderstanding) the team were nothing but polite, friendly and helpful. A joy to deal with to be honest. I've had the camera 6 months and I cannot fault it in anyway, its clarity, all the features and its usability is fantastic. So much so I recommend to anyone I know who is interested in observing wildlife to splash out and get one. There have been no visible signs of fox activity in the garden so I was so shocked to see one of my favourite wild animals. Our resident vixen will hopefully come into season soon and I'll wait with excitement for the possibility of some cubs in the spring. :-) One thing I would say although not a necessity but I would purchase the tripod. I've just had my camera on an upturned plant pot which has been fine and steady, however it does sometimes blow over in high winds so I'm going to buy a tripod soon. Don't hesitate, go ahead and buy one, you won't be disappointed!

Hi, The WiFi 2 cam is utterly brilliant. I absolutely love the fact i can operate it from the app. & see each morning what's visiting. The ease of sharing videos of hedgehogs eating and lapping water has really helped encourage others I know to get out and help the Hedgehogs & Birds all year. Pre purchase, in person, phone advice. Made all the difference to us buying 2 other cameras from Naturspy for different projects
