“Very comfortable to sit at desk top. Light weight to move when required. Good wrap around and support for lower back. Real impresed that pacakging had no plastic or polysterene.”
“Returned these because the back is super uncomfortable. Not sure how they even go out like this, when it’s such an easy fix - make the back 6” taller and angle it back 5 or 10 degrees more. As it is it feels like a 2x4 across the middle of my back, and I’m pretty average height for a guy at 6-0. Made me wonder what alien bodies y’all are designing for down there in NZ. Look good, seat is fine, but the back is the opposite of ergonomic.”
“Stunning chair, incredibly well designed, super easy to assemble, looks terrific in the office. An environmental scientist, I love that it is made of recycled materials. I have 5 of them in my office.
However, I agree with my students that for long meetings, it is actually nicer not to have them move. The old, more conventional chairs these replaced, were easier for 1-2 hour meetings. Not sure why that is.
For my desk chairs, at home and in the office, the usual large thing with many adjustments, movement is key to their functionality, but one can adjust everything. Perhaps that's the limit. Different people probably want different amounts of flexibility, but that would change the nature of the chair.
In any event, they are all time favorite chairs in the whole wide world, but I do think the move part of it is not as great as I imagined.

I’m purchasing toppers as the seat pattern being slightly raised is uncomfortable for some family members.
I haven’t received them as yet but I’m sure they will make the chairs super comfy.
