“Semi-comfortable chair. Looks great in my house. Not the best to sit in through the entire work day as a desk chair, but it’s great for a quick meeting table in a common area.”

Thanks so much for your feedback. We are thrilled you love the way it looks in your house. We did not design this chair specifically for an office chair, hence no adjustments you see in a typical office chair. Our intention was to create a multi-use chair that can be used at your desk or dining table. And we hope you are getting up and moving around during the day! No chair should be suitable for sitting for an entire work day, although we are all more likely to do so when working from home.

“I honestly think they are good looking chairs and generally good chairs. they are not as comfortable as it sounds. but for almost $500 a chair, I just can't find a reason to justify the price. I later decided to return it. i would have given it 5 stars if this chair was 1/2 the price as i feel would be more appropriate. however, just one man opinion.”
We appreciate our products are expensive. We are taking recycled materials and using them in new ways. We use reclaimed materials (ghosts nets and end- of-life carpets), and manufacture in New Zealand to access 80+% renewable energy. We are a B Corp and are unwilling to forfeit equitable working conditions or compromise on materials, because either people or planet or both would end up paying somewhere along the line if we moved to a less sustainable business model. And last, but not least, our chair is built to last a lifetime. Hope that better explains why the chair is expensive.

seat and back molded with as much effort toward keeping it open and airy I anticipated more flexibility
and contouring around my butt. I returned the chair, but I may reorder in the future as the perfect example
of a very well thought product design experience.”
