“I'm happy with the change in my relaxation levels at bed time after installing this screen protector. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be much of a 'protector'. I dropped my phone last week and, the protector has cracked. I thought it would be tougher than that.”

Hey Elaine, Night shift, or night mode, is a great feature to use while on the computer or phone. However, the result is not exactly the same as wearing blue light glasses or using a screen protector.. Rather than actually filtering out harmful blue light rays, night mode provides digital device users with amber tinted vision. When turning night mode on, you will notice that the colors on your digital device take on a more yellow hue. On the other hand, blue light glasses and screen protectors offer much more quality protection against blue violet light. This is due to the special materials used to make the lenses or screens. Depending on the quality of the lens, blue light filtering glasses and screen protectors are able to filter out different percentages of blue light, thus protecting the eyes from its harmful side effects.
