“the leather on the right sandal is pieced together with an obvious seam down the middle. I have another pair of Olukai sandals that I love...these won't get much use...”
“These sandals look nice but the thong is very hard and hurts my toes. I’m trying to give them a chance wearing them in the house but I can’t keep them on long. I’ll probably be sending them back”
“I had ordered a different less expensive pair in the past and absolutely loved them. I thought if I ordered the most expensive pair you had that they would just be unbelievably awesome. Unfortunately they ended up not being very comfortable at all. I tried to give them a chance and give a little time to break in but didn't work. They even got to the point where they ripped the skin off the nuckle of my big toe. I ended up going back to wearing the previous pair which to me are absolutely the best pair I have yet to own.”
“Ordered the brown pair. Upon arrival they looked drab, the design etching was barely discernible. Now that I've worn them for a few weeks (primarily indoors), they've developed an attractive oxidized patina & the etched designs standout markedly especially the insoles. The leather is soft, supple, smooth, well stitched/made.
Very light & comfortable to wear. I normally wear size 9.5" shoes but my first, less expensive pair of Olu Kai sandals were 9". I was very satisfied with the fit so the Kulias are 9", too. I have @ 1" to spare in front, @ 1/2" in the rear. I'm not a big fan of the front/rear "diving board" look on my sandals/flip flops. No socks, TYVM!
The black Kulias are next on my list. I plan to polish them with beeswax unless someone has a better suggestion.”
