“I am unable to really provide a "final" review due to the fact that I have only had my OluKai Mekila's a couple weeks & have worn only inside around the house. I can honestly say that they are not comfortable "right-out-of-the-box" & you will for sure need a "break-in period". I found that the base of the sandal after (3) days of wearing around the house became less stiff & now after (9) days, they are comfortable. The "post" has taken a lot more time to break-in & was literally so uncomfortable that I almost gave up & shipped my OluKai Mekila's back!
I am going to see how this next week goes but I do belive that my OluKai Mekila's have "turned-the-corner" of the break-in process but still require another week of wearing around the house before I venture outside.”
