These shoes were the perfect "every occasion" shoe since I wanted to keep my luggage lightweight. I submitted them to harsh use, wore them in ocean water and let them bake in the sun on deck. They've lasted a couple years (all I did was replace the elastic) and now I'll buy a new pair.
