This has been a total game-changer for solo travellers and off-roaders. Its magnetic base means I can slap it on the back of the Troopy in seconds! The free app streams clear daytime colour and infrared night vision straight to my phone. And sometimes, I just use it to help me keep an eye on the camp at night!

Reversing with a trailer used to be a test of patience, nerves, and relationships—but not anymore. The Oricom Magnetic Bluetooth Reverse Camera is like having an extra set of eyes that doesn’t yell “LEFT! No, your OTHER left!” This little gem slaps on magnetically, pairs with your phone, and gives you a crystal-clear view of what’s behind you—no wires, no drama. Perfect for towing lessons where learners are just getting the hang of it (and instructors are trying to hang onto their sanity). Verdict: It’s the co-pilot you never knew you needed—smart, silent, and doesn’t judge your reversing skills.

I purchased this camera to clamp on the side of my car to see oncoming traffic when reversing out of nose to kerb parking. Unfortunately the image produced is too weak for this purpose.

I'm travelling solo with a caravan and often have to hitch up without any assistance. My tug vehicle has no reversing camera, so the magnetic wireless reversing camera helps me to hook up first time, every time.

Connectivity can be a bit hit and miss, with the update rate sometimes brilliant and sometimes not-so-good regardless of where the camera is (on a camper), but still usable if you go slow
