“Need an extra battery if you are actually using your heated apparel for more than a walk outdoors because the battery is not able to provide the needed energy for an entire day of high heat. Wish the battery could be smaller and lighter - I see they now have a smaller sized battery although not sure if it fits all the jackets. I have the vest and did not buy a cheaper non-ororo brand battery due to concerns of compatibility and possibly damaging my jacket.”
“My first battery failed after first use. I contacted the company and they had me test the battery, which I did. They contacted me right away to send the bad battery back and they shipped me a replacement. My new battery charges great and my vest works well on my 5 miles outdoor walks in freezing temperatures. The vest is very comfortable. I do wish the battery was a little lighter and more easy to access when wearing.”
