“I purchased Ororo because it had a neck heating zone (plus back and front).Functionality is very good. I've tested in multiple conditions. My beef is the less than reasonable quality for smaller details that would seemingly cost pennies but would have Ororo standing out from competitors. The pocket for battery should be reinforced at the bottom so that the battery doesn't hang below the hemline. Annoying and short sighted in creation. An interior pocket on the opposite side would add function and counterbalance the weight of the battery. Lastly, the light from the on/off button while useful in the dark as a mini beacon, lol, isn't desirable to be seen all the time. I covered mine over with a small piece of fabric, safety-pinned from above the button avoiding wires. I love the vest but sad that IMO at 150-170, it's made with less quality than possible while still being able to enjoy a decent margin. Does everything have to be made in China?”
“The vest itself is great, but just a word of caution on the sizing: in the product description, it says, "Our slim cut vests are intended to give you a snug fit so that the heating elements are close to your body for maximum warmth," which I interpreted as, "Our vests are designed to run on the snug side, so if in doubt, size up." Unfortunately, that's not what it means. It really means, "Our vests are sized normally so if in doubt *don’t* size up because then the fit won’t be snug enough." If it's too big, the front heating element doesn't really do anything since there's too much air between your body and the vest. The vest I bought is unreturnable/unexchangable, so I unfortunately feel like I just bought an overpriced regular vest.”
