“We purchased this product with brackets since we do not have a perfectly flat fence top. We have a fence with posts so we mounted at an angle upwards on the front of our fence.
One recommendation I have is that they should put notches in the brackets so you can get your drill/driver bit straight on with the screw head but we managed anyway. I would give 5 stars if brackets had been better engineered.
The install was fast and easy. The product works well but as per the instructions if your fence is not 6 feet tall or if you have structures near the fence ultimately lowering the height your cat needs to jump then your escape artist may still get out. We needed to remove jump off points until he failed every time. Our cat is brilliant.
The install look is clean and maintenance free. A bit over-priced but worth the peace of mind.”
