“I bought my Sunshed in September 2024. I have to say the process, from ordering to delivery was seamless! The order was complete with no damages at all. The were mostly labeled and easy to figure out if they weren't. I painted all the pieces before assembling the shed. I studied the assembly manual carefully and followed the plan step by step. The actual assembly took 2 of us a little over 2 days. I absolutely LOVE it. I use it as my art studio... a retirement gift to myself.”

“After having purchased a cedar playhouse from OLT in 2020, we purchased the 12 x 12 Sunshed Garden Shed in the spring of 2024. We could not be more happy with the quality of the materials, the clarity of the instructions, and the beauty of the finished shed. The kit components were noticeably crafted with a high level of precision and attention to detail. Some exceptional examples included the precise bevels on the top plates that the rafters rest on. Another was the dado cuts on the window trim pieces. I imagined how long it would have taken me if I had attempted to cut the bevels on the top plates or the dados on the window trim myself (answer: a long, long time!). There were two tasks that required assistance of others when building the kit: flipping the floor framing over and lifting the two rafter sections to form the roof. The directions indicated that two assistants would be helpful completing these tasks. However, there may be a metric conversion issue. Two Canadian assistants must equal three Americans, because I was glad to have three of my buddies helping me with the lifting during these steps! I highly recommend the kits from Outdoor Living Today, having been completely satisfied with both. The price was well worth the quality and beauty of the finished product. I would love to share some pictures of how it turned out, but I can't find a way to upload them.”

“This is a high-quality product! The instructions for the most part are very good, but in a few areas are not the most clear. The assembly videos on YouTube are very helpful for clarifying things if the written directions leave you wondering. As a professional handyman for many years I worked with a helper and it took us 2.5 days to complete. We could have done it in 2 longer days if we chose to do so. I would highly recommend this product.... It's one of the best I've seen or ever assembled out there.... You'll love it!”

“It says 2 man 2 day build. Not even close! I think we were too fastidious or something. lol. Took us two weeks! Some of the boards didn’t fit quite right but we were able to make adjustments no problem. I love the 8x12 garden shed and it’s perfect on my off grid land in the mountains. We built a fire pit and added outdoor seating. It’s perfect for a nice getaway!! I would recommend Outdoor Living for sure. The customer service is awesome with quick responses. Ute was very helpful. The delivery truck couldn’t come to my property so I picked it up myself in a Tundra and they loaded it on for me and helped tie it down. Then I was able to unload in my own time. It was packed well and incurred no damage.”

“I purchased the garden studio (12x8) with the optional interior kit. All the pieces were packaged smartly, labeled appropriately and I had no issues following the manual to put it together, as a novice with only a few hours in the morning and evening to work on DIY, it took me a couple of weeks to slowly but surely finish the shed. I went with the cedar roof and it was a bit on the heavy side to hoist up on the rafters — but we managed to do it! The interior kit is also very easy to put together though I think it may receive a tiny bit less love from QA: I was missing a couple pieces of window trim — but I was able to cut some scrap cedar I had from another project to compensate. Considering how on top of things customer service is, I'm sure they would've happily shipped me the missing pieces, but they were small and mostly cosmetic so I didn't really want to wait for the shipping haha. My one piece of feedback would be to maybe reconsider the roof panels in the interior kit: right now they're three very heavy pieces of plywood that my helper and I struggled very much to hoist overhead to attach to the rafters, we ended up building some temporary scaffolding on the walls to help us — I didn't want to leave good quality plywood unused, otherwise I would've probably put up some tongue and groove instead.”

“Built this shed several years ago(6-7?) and it has held up really well. Our summers are very dry, winters can have significant snow accumulation. We have had to re-stain it several times. The kit was well designed, but several pieces were so warped I had to go to the lumber store to make replacements. This winter will be one for the record books. I am surprised that the roof (including the solar windows) have held up to the winters. I wish I could include a picture, we have 4-5 feet of snow piled on top of it now.”
