“We love our new pergola. I had help cementing in the post mounts and aligning the outer posts, but then I (50 year old female) along with my 18 year old daughter and her 18 year old boyfriend assembled the entire pergola. As a female not knowing anything about construction, it would have been appreciated if you recommended cementing in the post mounts. I did appreciate the information on the type of post mounts and also know installation is subject to the local building authority, but additional information would have been helpful. We experience high winds so I would also recommend having the retractable roof have more than the centre beam - it would be nice if both ends could also be attached just like the centre.”
