Would love to see what his reaction is like in those kind of situations but my feeling is he would be much more calmer in those situation. I recommend putting this shirt on your dog for only short period of time to calim excitable dogs as it could feel quite warm for prolong periods.”

“I have a 2-year-old Border Collie. I was sceptical about this product with my boy as his barking/anxiety is triggered by sudden noises outside the house, however, usually he does not like being held tightly. Initially when we first put it on him, he was not bothered by wearing it and he seemed a lot calmer through a set of Australia Day fireworks than he usually would be. However, I did notice that the longer I left it on him the less effective it would be. So, I think using it for him just for when he really needs it would be the most effective method. Its hard to tell without trying it in different scenarios and over a long period of time. Will be good to take away camping with us to properly try it out then!
Quality seems great and it fit him perfectly. I bought the large size as Stanley is 23kg. Lots of give if he were to be a little smaller or a little bigger. The ThunderPatch seems like a great feature, although I have not tried it yet. Overall, worth a shot for an unsettled and anxious dog.

“My Rhodesian Ridgeback pulls on the leash and tries to wriggle out of harness to avoid going to the vet and the groomer. Just walking towards the door stresses her. The Thundershirt (XL size) did reduce pulling and I think that more practice with the Thundershirt on will get us to a point where she will be much more comfortable. The material of the Thundershirt needs to be upgraded to something more breathable as it is too hot given it is covering a good part of the torso. For the price, I am happy with the result although I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.”
“I was gifted a product sample to trial and review. My Staffy x Jack barks non-stop when the fireworks and thunder starts until their conclusion. I havent been able to trial it with thunder but noticed a huge improvement with fireworks after putting the Thundershirt (size S) on her. The fireworks didnt go for very long but the barking stopped before before the fireworks ended which is a fantastic milestone. My biggest concern is that most fireworks are in the middle of summer and she is so heat affected that I cant leave her in the Thundershirt so I would have to put it on her once the fireworks/thunder have started. It is worth having as any reduction in anxiety is worth the price.”
“My dog has always had anxiety during thunderstorms. He is difficult to console, and he gets stressed to the point where his breathing gets faster, and he looks up at me like he is seeking help. The only way I have been able to calm him the past is by taking him to my room, where it is quieter, and bringing a toy for him to play with to keep him distracted. During long storms this can be exhausting. Using the ThunderShirt has made him a lot calmer during storms. He still stresses a bit but now I dont need to take him to my room anymore. “my pup (1 year) suffers from anxiety and he is also prone to allergies which irritates him. He was SUPER hypo because of his allergies which cause his ears to get infected on and off. We tried everything to calm him down so we could at least give him medicine or clean his ears, thanks to the Thunder Shirt hes able to calm down, its also relieved his anxiety when were not home.
