“I tried out a Thundershirt on my anxious Chihuahua. I found using XS size we got a got fit around the chest and it was able to offer a firm hug fit around his body. The fabric is soft and supportive and the velcro panels are easy to get a good snug fit. The length on his torso was a bit long though and it was almost too long to urinate without covering his bits. I noticed a near instant improvement in his anxiety though and he seemed happy to spend more time alone outside. There has been a clear boost in tiny dog confidence! If there was an XXS size, I would probably try this size.

“I used this on my corgi crossbreed dog who gets extremely anxious during storms. when we first put it on him he seemed a little confused, having never worn a coat before, but he soon figured it out. while it didnt stop all of his storm related behaviour - he stayed hiding inside rather than running arround trying to attack the thunder. however this shirt really isnt suitable for use in summer. within about 20 mins my dog was starting to overheat and panting quite badly, which settled once we took the shirt off. I was gifted this product to trail and review, but Honestly I loved it. I cant wait to try this shirt out more in winter storms where i think it will be mroe effective”
“I have a Jack Russell who is scared of thunder, loud noises, and going for walks at night-time. She does not have seperation anxiety, rather environmental anxiety. She has maybe 5 dog vests as I live in the blue mountains where it gets cold. Honest opinion, the Thundershirt either slightly reduced her anxiety going for night walks over her other jackets. At worst, it was the same. It was quite hard to tell between the jackets. But the manufacture quality of the jacket is very good, and the comfort level of the jacket seems to be higher. My dog happily keeps wearing it when we get home rather than staring at me until I remove her jacket like normal. Overall in my experience, I cannot confirm if her anxiety levels were reduced, but perhaps slightly. Even if this is due to the snug fit and comfort of this product over others, that says enough. “Ever since I got my doggo, walking him has always been one mighty upper body workout as he pulls like no tomorrow. I was blown away by this jacket as on the first walk after putting it on, he didnt pull at all! It actually seems to calm him down during our walks which is unbelievable and such a relief.
I havent seen a noticeable difference during storms or car trips but the no pulling during our walks, is an absolute treat and worthy of a recommendation!
