“I felt the only problem for me was the gap at the back of the dress I would have preferred the zip to go all the way up. I liked the material and the colours of the dress.”
“I can't fault the dress in terms of quality, fit and workmanship. The petite measurements were perfect for my frame but, unfortunately, it was just too mumsie for me. At 67 I do accept I'm no longer young, but the style and florals aged me about 10 years. Shame.”
“Love the style of this dress. Have been looking everywhere for a special dress to wear as Mother of the Groom in July and this dress ticked all the boxes for me…. V-neck, floral, long sleeves, a tie belt, and a good length.
I wanted a low calf length though, and thought as I’m 5’ 3”in height, that a ‘petite’ would be better for me. However, it wasn’t long enough for my liking, but I had also ordered the regular length in the same size, which fitted me perfectly.
The only problem I had, which I also read in another review of this particular dress, was that the belt on the normal length dress, was so much shorter, that I couldn’t buckle it up!
I compared the lengths of both belts, on the Petite & Regular length and there was a vast difference …. several inches!!
I can only think, that a belt for a much smaller size, had mistakenly been put on the bigger size dress (I’m an 18), in the shop, if it had previously come off of the dress!
I was lucky that I had both dresses, at the same time, as I’d ordered them online together, so I was then able to swap the belts over.
