But, oh, this is not just another air purifier. Gather round the fire, my friends, for the Tale of The Little AirSoap That Could (save my life because it has).
For nearly 4 years, I've been battling debilitating migraines, which began suddenly and severely--so much as sending me multiple times to the ER. When I say "migraines, " I don't just meaning throbbing pain and sensitivity to light. I mean the scary migraines that mimic strokes--slurred speech, muscle weakness, sensitivity to sound, smell, and light, pain that caused intense vomiting (sorry for the imagery), memory loss, pain that corkscrewed around and extended behind my eye...horrible symptoms that hit me randomly, violently, and that lasted for nearly a week at a time. Then they became regular. As in, every single day. I awoke each morning with a nasty migraine and as long as I took my pharmaceutical cocktail and said a prayer that my liver would continue to survive another round of OTC and prescription painkillers, i could get through my day. Not exactly the life I had imagined for myself as a mom in my early 30s with a toddler and trying to run a full-time music studio. As the migraines leeched the life out of me, I felt more discouragement, as no doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. Miraculously, all the MRIs, MRAs, CAT Scans, blood work, and every test my numerous specialists could think of came back negative. But still, no answers. Perhaps there never would be. After all, one neurologist told me I'd just have to live with the pain. I passed off some symptoms as simply "Mommy Brain, " or that I was just super busy. That nagging thought in the back of my mind just kept pestering me. "It really couldn't be that simple, could it? Could there be one answer to explain these years of pain? Could it really be allergies? "
Diving into the world of allergic reactions was, to be quite honest, insane. But lo and behold, there it was in plain sight: those little buggers staged a coup, constantly triggering my tri-geminal nerve. In a nutshell: it sucked. If allergies were really the culprit and changing my house filter more often didn't do the trick, I had to try something. “Love it, I have 2 AirSoap filters in my home. When I walk into the other room it smells like spring time. Very sensitive testing on air quality. Turns red when I use my hair spray in the other room.
I wish there was a smaller version for a smaller room.

“We've only had our AirSoap for a month but so far we are very happy with the design and how it functions. I've already recommended it to people in my office and three of my clients. My only complaint is with the quality (poor) of the instructions. They were vague and more about the designer's credentials as a minimalist than they were about conveying clear information.

“I like the air soap. It is quiet, and it works!
There is only thing I am not thrilled about: I bought it to use in my 400 square foot office that has no opening windows, because of Covid. Being in such a small space, running the air soap does accumulate an ozone odor that I'm not too fond of. But it is manageable, by keeping it on low fan, and opening my door to circulate the air between clients. I would still rather have this than not, so don't let that deter you, and it is one sure way to see it does work.
My work does not allow me to social distance and the air soap allows me to keep my business running during this pandemic, without concern for my health or that of my clients. The air soap is also a layer of protection from Covid potentially spreading through the ducting system of the building,
Being that it does have many settings for the fan I can run it up to level 5 and really blow the room out if I feel the need to.
I also purchased the phone soap which is a great go-with to the air soap and well worth the investment. I am very happy as these products provide peace of mind during some trying times.
I haven't owned the air soap long enough to clean the filters yet, but am very pleased to have an environmentally friendly filter system rather than all the other options I could find out there.
