“We generally like this.. we only wish it could be slightly bigger as we can't find out son's iPad Pro 12.9 in the kids case in the machine. We do love it to sanitize other things around the house such as out phones, smaller iPads, keys, masks, watch, and whatever else we randomly throw in there.”
“For a high-dollar fixture on my countertop, I expect better fit and finish. While the unit presumably does its job, the injection molded parts look cheap with ugly parting lines and unimpressive fit. The unit does emit an odor when opening the door after a sanitizing cycle. I do not know if this is burnoff of manufacturing chemicals or something I just need to get used to. In summary, I would have chosen another manufacturer's product if I had found something comparable.”
“The door feels lightweight and seems to be secured with a magnet---I was expecting something more rugged. I am not sure why the timer is set for 10 minutes---that doesn't seem long enough to kill germs that concern me. Also, I wish PhoneSoap would publish third-party research regarding the ability of its products to kill Covid19.”
“Seems to work great, the feet suction works well and the box does not tip. I have had some trouble fitting some medium sized items in this box, so if it was wider by maybe 1 or 2 inches, I think that would be better. You can smell the ozone when you open the door after running the UV, smells like burnt plastic. So I make sure to open all my windows nearby. I wish they could do something to neutralize the ozone. Otherwise, happy with it. Fits video game controllers, iPads, Nintendo Switch.”
