“Very pleased with the product. We keep it on a shelf in our kitchen and use it to disinfect. our cell phones, watches and keys. The only additional feature that I feel would improve an already great product would be some sort of on/off switch. Now, when you remove an item from the Phonesoap after its completed the cleaning cycle, there is no way to close the cover without the UV lights turning on again for 10 minutes. No big deal since the lights have a very long life, but running while empty does seem a bit strange. That being said, this is a wonderful product.”
“There was a slight shipping hiccup, though in the circumstances of 2020 with the pandemic I can understand the reason for that. It wasn't a long delay and PhoneSoap promptly responded to my inquiries, so I'm not going to ding the company over that issue.
I use this for an iPhone X and my wife uses it for an iPhone SE; I've also occasionally stuck other things in it, such as my Apple Watch (with the band removes) and one or two masks. My mom also used it when she stopped by. I use my phone to make the grocery list and then to check the items off while shopping (the store we patronize has an app that sorts the grocery list by aisle), so I use the PhoneSoap every Saturday or Sunday after I get back from the store. Can I confirm that it's actually removing all the germs or other stuff? No. I have no way to do that. But prior to buying this device, I hardly ever cleaned my phone at all, so there's that. It certainly doesn't do any harm.
My iPhone X is larger than my wife's SE and it fits in the unit with room to spare. I don't know how well the new iPhone 12 Pro Max would fit because that looks pretty big from the pictures, but I don't have a lot of interest in anything larger than the iPhone X. My suggestion is that if you have a large phone, you should measure it carefully.
The wireless charging is a nice feature for giving my phone a quick hit when needed.”
