“Our small business ordered two of the PhoneSoap Wireless models and two of the PhoneSoap 3's. We got the 3's in fairly quickly and then learned the wireless model shipment was lost somehow and our order would be delayed by an additional month. Understanding that the demand for the product is probably very high right now we were understanding of the delay and used the 3's that we did have for our sanitation purposes.
After placing the order on July 20th (all of which were supposed to ship before July 27th), we received the wireless models on September 1st. I unwrapped and set up both wireless models and then attempted to sanitize and charge my phone (a newer version Google Pixel) which I exclusively charge wirelessly in-case on a daily basis). Once the cycle was complete (plus probably an additional 20 minutes) I checked my phone to discover that it had dropped by 1-2 percent. I tried on the other wireless model and had the same experience. I attempted to establish a wireless charge with another person's phone (with a thin rubber phone case) and was again unsuccessful.
After these failed attempts I reached out to PhoneSoap customer service and explained the issue. They said the wireless models "aren't very good at charging phones with the cases on " and they had heard complaints from multiple individuals upset because there is no mention of the charger not working when a case is in use. With customer service on the phone we removed the case from one of the phones and after positioning and re-positioning on the charger finally got it to recognize the charger.
Very inconvenient bordering on false advertising. If you are ordering the wireless model be prepared to fully remove your case if you're wanting to charge your device. And based on this experience, I'm curious how anyone is supposed to know if the UV light sanitizer works effectively as there's no way for most people to conduct efficacy testing at home.
Definitely would pass on ordering a wireless version in the future.”
“Shame on the team who designed this. The upgrade for wireless is just a free cash grab for the company. I use an otterbox defender case and guess what, the whole thing needs to come off in order for wireless charging to work. I have a case on my airpods and guess what, the whole case needs to come off for the box to close. In addition, you can't keep the airpods case open to disinfect the inside once you shut the phonesoap. I just got an apple watch today and found out that the wireless does not charge the watch either. If you have the watch charging with the cable, the phone soap will not close all the way because of the thickness of the charging magnet + the wristbands. Really disappointed and the lack of reviews on these details that are common among Apple users makes me question the validity of them. I have no doubt this product disinfects but all the extra features it claims makes me regret buying this and I could not recommend this product to my friends and family because of the deceptive description. Shipping also took 4 months as they missed the preorder ship date twice. There are other companies that make a similar product with more proven track records that I'd go with in the future.”

The PhoneSoap helps provide a level of clean I wasn't previously able to achieve.
