I'm really thrilled to be adding red light/NIR therapy to my clinical toolbox. I anticipate patients getting great benefit with deep tissue and mental health/mood settings.
One letdown has been the lack of easily-found how-to information for the panels. I'm thinking of information on how to use the Smart Modes with blue lights disabled, for example; and information about the distance I should have between the patient and then panel. (I've got my panels end-to-end and mounted on the horizontal lift.)The printed instruction manual isn't very helpful with any of the above. I'd hoped to find videow on the PlatinumLED website or at least on YouTube - I really haven't found anything that's not a very short review. I've got the app dowloaded on my phone, and it seems to be pretty functional, but still lacking in the details I'm looking for.
Basically, I'm using these panels as a 'newbie' - I don't have years of experience or knowledge on the nuances of red light/NIR therapy. I feel like it's assumed I know a lot of details I don't yet know, and I'm really not sure how to get answers to my questions.
Regardless, the panel construction is solid, the horizontal mount is hefty (and heavy!!), and I'm hopeful my patients will benefit. I would have just appreciated more support than is easily found.”

“I bought 2 panels for full body coverage with a motorized stand. I have used them once a day, every day, since I purchased them and enjoy the experience. Not sure if they are affecting my health yet, but it's simple to use and I like the relaxation time.
However, the software to control the lights is confusing and not user friendly. I could only get the remotes to work using the preprogrammed buttons, with no custom control. There may be a way, but no instruction manual was included. I can't even change the timer to use the remote for a custom amount of time, and with 2 panels I want them to start at the same time but would have to press the button on each panel individually. For such a premium product, they should do better with the user interface.”

I got the biggest Biomax Pro Ultra and have it on my door I angle it and lie on my floor for now. I REALLY wish I could have afforded the adjustable floor stand so I could lie on my bed or couch it would make my experience so much better!”
