PlatinumLED Therapy Lights: BIOMAX Series BIOMAX 900 + 900 Reviews

I like the light panels. I use the lights 1-2 times a day for 15-20 minutes. I haven't noticed anything different in a month. I purchased 2 900's based on the suggestion of a sales rep for Platinum. It is really more than I needed. I probably only needed a 900 and a 600 to stack for my height. I purchased the lights for skin health and health in general, knowing that the mitochondria love it. Once I received the lights and read the manual, it said not to use NIR for skin pigmentation, which is why I bought the lights, because in all of my research NIR and Red light, both, help to heal skin pigmentation and other skin issues and that NIR would not make pigmentation worse. So I was very disappointed that I can't use the NIR lights, which I want to use for deeper tissue healing.

We have only had these lights for a short time, but so far we're pleased. The lights seem to help us recover from workouts faster. The lights seem to be built heavy-duty. Looking forward to more results with time.

So far, I love it. But I think it’s too soon to really notice a marked improvement.

PROS: I like the adjustable intensity touch screen. I'm currently using it at 50% NIR and 50% red light. Everything works as it should and they are not too loud. CONS: 1)The instruction manual isn't that great. 2) If you use the remote it seems the panels will only run for 20 minutes regardless of what you set the timer to. Maybe I'm missing something there but the instruction manual and website were no help. I prefer a 10-minute cycle so I have to run them in solo mode. I'm using them side by side so the left panel's touch screen is up against the right side panel. 3) The door-hanging system isn't great. If you are tall and hang them on a standard 80" door the panels are too low. 4) The hanging cables and chain are disappointing as well. They make lowering and raising the panels difficult. The cables dig into your hands and the chains just bang and rattle against the panels. One review I saw said they come with hanging pulleys but they do not. 5) The on/off switch is on the back of the panel and hard to access. I purchased a surge protector and mounted it next to the panels to use as the on/off switch. I planned to buy 2 more panels and have 2 side by side uppers and lowers but I doubt I will do that now.

It's great to have a fulll body treatment all at one time. Saves a lot of time by have 2 900 units set on a horizontal stand.
