“Much heavier duty than the original stand. The original stand leaned over with just 2 900s on it. The motorized stand holds 4 900s with no lean to it. My only complaint would be the cord length for the adjuster panel. It would be nice if it was long enough to run up the stand and over the top of the lights to be able to control at the upper outer end of the stand”

Hello Alicia! The XL Motorized Horizontal Stand has a sensor in it that will detect any resistance if it is pushed while moving down. This will automatically stop it immediately so don't worry about this! Also, we do recommend to utilize the memory function on the remote which will save two pre-set heights that you're able to set yourself. This way, with one touch you are able to lower the light to your exact desired height each time with ease. We hope this helps!

“I bought the BIOMAX 600 with the motorized stand to help treat lower back pain. The decision was made based on reviews and I am happy with the results. One-point Platinumled was not clear in the manual is related to the best therapeutic dose in Joules. Fortunately, Alex Fergus’ website has a comprehensive information about the BIOMAX 600, inclusive the measurement of the real intensity in mW/cm2 for the distance at 6 inches. Putting together Alex’s information and the book from Ari Whitten, I was able to come up with a more effective time at 6-inches. Before, I was using too much time and it was not helping. Although there is a controversy about the real power (mW/cm2) all companies declare, Platinumled still one of the best in the market, if not the best, regarding good power, and the equipment, especially the motorized stand.
