A little tricky to submerge but it's doing the job. Water is crystal clear.

Well worth the money and very big. Very well made. Got the medium size it's bigger than what I expected but that's not a bad thing. Works great.

The light has worked well. After about two weeks the pond is crystal clear. The pond is about 2,000 gallons and the light is the 40 watt one. You need to clean out the filter often at first. But well worth the investment. I put mine in the bottom of my waterfall filter. The video is of the fish on the bottom of the pond that is about 3 feet deep.

The "submersible" UV lights FLOAT! Poor instruction included in the box. Says to place the lights inside a filter??!! Where to find such a filter? Nothing like that on the Play It Koi website. The ends of the light should be weighted at the factory. For now, I put each of 2 lights through the holes in a cinder block. Not a great solution... Follow-up, 2 weeks in: These lights are fantastic! After my old UV lights died, my two fish ponds looked like pea soup. After only a couple days, the water began to clear. Now, 2 weeks in, it is crystal clear. I only have to change my filters every 4-5 days. These lights are not only much less expensive, they are far more effective than 2 other brands of UV lights I've purchased. Even though they float, I would recommend them. I do hope play-it-koi will find a way to sell weights that might be installed at one end so the light stays under water.

The product is just right for my pond. It seems to be working - it hasn't been working long enough for me to see results. But it's perfect for me. If you don't have an external filter large enough to fit it in properly it may not be the product for you. Measure before you order - make sure you have enough room to allow the thing to stand up straight in your filter - the end of the cord and the black section it is attached to is not to be submerged. There are really no clear instructions. My only irritation is that I paid more for faster shipping and it took longer to get there than the alloted time. Not the end of the world - just annoying.
