Only been a few days and the uv sterilizer has done an incredible job already clearing my pond.

So great to hear, Ernest! A few days in and already seeing clearer water is exactly what you want from the Periha drop-in UV-C. Keep an eye on the lamp hours over the season and swap when it's due so it keeps doing its thing. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

The 60watt is the correct size for our 3000 gal pond but was out of stock, so in April I purchased the 40watt to tide me over. I submerged it in my filter and within 10 days the 40 watt almost cleared the pond water. So great! When the 60watt became available I purchased it. However, when I pulled the 40watt, it had moisture inside the bulb. It was still working but I'm sure this is a fault. Hoping to hear back on this. Meanwhile, the 60watt is doing a fine job.

Hi Jan, thank you for sharing your experience, and we're so glad both units helped clear your pond, but we're sorry to hear about the moisture you found inside the 40watt bulb. That definitely shouldn't happen, and we'd like to take a closer look and make it right for you. Please email us at support@playitkoi.com so we can dig into the details and get this sorted out. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

I haven't used it yet but it looks just like what I need. I just have to figure out where to put it in my pond and decide if I need to run the water fall or if the fountain is enough.

Sounds like the Periha drop-in UV-C is just the ticket, Richard! For placement, UV works best where water flows past it steadily, so wherever you get good circulation is ideal. Send us a pond photo if you'd like a second set of eyes on the setup. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

I am pleased with my light. It seems to be clearing up the water. I am going to order another one since my pond is so big.
