“I purchased the Azolla Caroliniana to prevent mosquitoes from reproducing in the same vessel as the red cardinal flower, which is also shared by pickeral. I struggled to keep any mosquito fish in this container. There was also resident duckweed, I say was- the azolla has taken over almost completely. I'm not faffed about that whatsoever, and am pleased with the variety of colors the azolla provides. I don't believe mosquitos can hatch from under the azolla mat, which is about an inch thick.”

“Arrived very lush. Was red colored. Had to place in a temporary container because of incoming freezing temps. Has been doing well, seems to be getting healthier since we got it. This was better than I expected; this is a cool plant.”
