A purple bloom within a week, that's great to see! Water Hyacinth loves warm water and plenty of sun, so keep it in a bright spot and it'll keep going. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

Hi Alicia, thank you for giving our Water Hyacinth a try, and I understand the wait for it to multiply can be a little nerve-wracking. These plants often take some time to settle in before they start spreading, especially depending on water temperature and sunlight, so please email us at support@playitkoi.com and we'll happily walk through your setup to help things along. We want to see your hyacinth thrive. — Kristen, Play It Koi

So great to hear, Timothy! Water hyacinth can really take off once they're happy, and blooms within a few days is a great sign. They love warm water and full sun, so they should keep spreading for you. Send a pond photo our way sometime, we'd love to see them. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

So glad your Water Hyacinth showed up healthy and full of buds! Once it settles in and the water warms, it should really take off and give your koi some nice shade. — The PIK Crew, Play It Koi

Thanks for the honest take, Curtis! Water hyacinth can be slow to wake up early on, but once the water warms it should really take off and start spreading those leaves. Give it some time in good sun and reach out anytime if it's still sulking. — Kristen, Play It Koi
