So glad the Hermine lily made it to you in great shape, Michael! Bare root lilies travel best when you get them settled soon, so pot her up and ease the pot to depth as she grows. She should reward you with those clean white blooms in no time. — Your Play It Koi crew

I ordered one, but received 3 very small lily plants, so I planted them in one pot, your largest aquatic pond planter pot. They arrived with my yellow lily, already reviewed, alive and well, and like the yellow ones, I planted them the day I received them. They did not have leaves that reached the surface, but grew them enough to float leaves the 2nd day after placing in the pond. Like the yellow ones, they also had no corm to speak of and no roots. I followed all the planting instructions as I did for the yellow ones but they, as the yelllow ones were, were difficult to plant because of the difficulty in anchoring each plant in the potting medium w/o them simply floating out with nothing to anchor them. So far, they are still planted, but any day I wouldnt be surprised to find one or more of them floating on the water surface as happened to one of the yellow ones. for this reason, I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. I welcome feedback so that it won't happen again. As noted in the yellow lily review, I have 4 medium size koi who might've nosed into them and rooted them out, but I feel pretty certain that if there had been more root/corm to anchor them with, this would not be an issue. I am not a total novice with koi ponds and have transplanted many waterlillies in the past but never had my fish root them out before.

Plant arrived safely with thanks to very considerate packing. It already had a budding flower and many healthy leaves.

I had no idea what to expect and when the package arrived and I unrolled the damp newsprint around the plants they all had leaves… I was expecting just root systems. They are all beautiful. I placed them in my pond, but plan to winter them over in a tank in the basement. Our pond is too new and it is too late in the season from them to get established. Thank you for the care you give to your plants. I know they will be wonderful next summer. My best, Jane H.
