I planted the Marsilea Mutica in the same substrate but in a liter sized plastic pot that I cracked in several places with a well placed sole. This one has been living happily in the 35 gallon tote that serves as the sump of the filter system I have. I didn't rinse any of the plants before potting them up. Only the Marsilea Mutica seems to have brought other species: string algae which I am debating keeping around. I've quarantined it for now in my 5 gallon media filter, where I'm hoping it will remain to help with filtration and nitrate control. The few snail species living in the sump are helping the decaying matter return to the system. For fun, I took some loose, budding roots from the Marsilea Mutica, cleaned the algae from them, and stuck them in with the honeywort. I thought they might not like the depth, but at least one leaf has breached the surface, and a few others seem on their way.

This is a replacement of a water clover that was about dead when I opened it... The response was an immediate replacement and the customer service was super. Below you can see the new water clover in bottom left. In the square floating Island you can barely make out the water clover trying to make a comeback. I'm very pleased with the new plant and especially the customer service.
