“Dwarf Lotus like this one is great. You could enjoy the tropical flower with great fragrant without having to have a big pond. Iâ€™m in Seattle area, the weather is cold and damp till mid Spring. This plant needs warm climate and sun to grow. I got the bare roots delivered end of March, and planted them the next day. They come very fresh and healthy. I use aquarium heater to keep the water warm enough for the plant to grow. Have them for the 3rd year. Each root would bear 2-3 flowers, starting in May there would be 1-2 blooms and through the summer. Love love love Lotus. Itâ€™s my favorite flower. Itâ€™s beautiful but simple, humble looking flower. its fragrant is out of this world. They are easy to grow when the environmental factors are met. Need at least 15-17in. diameter container, one root per container. Harvest after 2nd year in Spring. I have more than 3 new roots after 2 years. and the original root is double its size. Have fun growing Lotus, it will be your favorite in the yard.”
