“You get what you pay for, my outdoor pond water is crystal clear few days after putting Momotaro Bacteria Filter Media into the filtration system. I did expect the water to be clear as this is winter and I stopped feeding the Koi about 1 month ago. Still the water has never been so clear”

“I did a lot of research on media before buying this media for my bakki shower. Momotaro Bacteria House media makes particles fall out of the water and stick to the media because of its electrostatic characteristics. That makes the water super clear. It also emits far infrared rays that break up water clusters and allow more oxygen in the water. Far infrared technology is used for humans for many health benefits. Definitely do your research on this. I know it s recomended to have 1 box (10 lbs) for every 500 gallons for a standard stocked pond. However, I have 6 x 10lb boxes and this is enough for my 6,000 gallon pond. Which is now crystal clear down to the bottom and tests out perfect. My fish are extra happy too.”

“Very willing to answer questions about products. I have not noticed anything special about the bacteria house. It is very expensive. Also, it annoyingly stays afloat. If air can be trapped, it does not have complete flow through.”

Hi Nathan, We're just going through older reviews and curious about your experience. Are you still having issues with the media still floating? are you using it in a bakki shower? if not, can you share the type of application? now that it has been a few years, would you still recommend it. Momotaro has been pretty challenging to import these last few years due to COVID and your experience (positive or constructive) is certainly appreciated.
