“Microbe-Lift products have a strange history. The chemistry company made beneficial bacteria for many uses and sources. Think of probiotics for instance. They made bacteria for agriculture, human consumption, septic systems, etc. They teamed with a fish nutritionist to create food for goldfish and koi. Unlike regular fish food, the food contains beneficial enzymes that help a fish digest the food (kind of like probiotics for fish!). It also has beneficial bacteria that helps you pond water too. Regular food that is uneaten dirties your water. Mircrobe-Lift helps your fish and water. They make many varieties of fish food (sinking, spring and fall, summer food, color enhancers, etc.). I use the sinking food as my surface area is small and my skimmer is powerful. This is a high-quality food that has multiple benefits!.”
