“Good product that is an exact replacement of the builder’s install. Will likely corrode as the last one did and start leaking again in 10-12 years but since I will have moved by then, didnt want to invest in a higher quality unit. Otherwise it was an easy replacement since all parts were the same and the unit has worked fine over the past 6 months. I didnt bother changing the sink sleeve. If you plan to stay long in your home, it may be worth investing in a higher quality unit.”
“This is the 2nd one I've replaced... The first one lasted about 10 years and this one only lasted about 5 years. Not sure why the difference! I've just replaced the most recent one today so I'm hoping that it lasts longer than the last one did. Also, the one I installed today had a PVC replacement part that was about 1/2" longer than the original which caused me some frustration, so I ended up having to use the old part again. This mfg. is one I've had in my residences for the last 40+ years and they have done well by me.”
